March 2012, First corporate flight attendant training in Greece was very successful

Athens was the location where flight attendants from a Greek business aviation company received tailor made in-house training. An introduction to food safety, gourmet style food presentations, precision in table setting and attention to detail onboard a private jet were amongst the training topics on the first day. Corporate identity and handling difficult situations were starting topics for the second day and the participants very much appreciated the feedback, which provided them them with all the answers on how to behave when representing their company. Corporate flight attendants are the "face of a company" and they have the most direct customer contact. Cutlural differences, exceeding customer expectations and creating a customer- focused environment finished the session on the second day and all participants left having gained knowledge which they now can apply in their daily work routine.

February 2012, Culinary training for corporate flight attendants with Alison Price On Air in London

Alison Price On Air also partners with Flight Attendant education specialist Swiss-based Training Solutions to offer longer, paid for, two day courses aimed at attendants who want to deepen their knowledge. The intensive course includes a wider range of information about culinary trends, international cuisine with specialist chefs, food and wine matching and goes through the complexities of delievery procedures and security issues at airports. The attendants who complete the course are awarded a certificate to verify their skills."We find that the attendants who complete the course become genuinely interested in the catering side of their service. It gives them greater confidence to present consistent, delicious food. It also stimulates their interest in providing their clients with what they really want, which results in happier clients."
